This Must Be The Place Catalonia Wedding venue is an incredible place with magical sunsets. Just an hour’s drive from Barcelona, the journey itself is a treat, passing along charming country roads with beautiful views that hint at the celebration to come.
The venue offers more than three ceremony spots and just as many options for your wedding dinner (Check the sports here). And if it rains—don’t worry, they’ve got you covered. This Must Be The Place Catalonia Wedding venue specialises in hosting destination weddings for couples from all over the world.
The story behind the venue is just as lovely—the owners were actually looking for their own wedding location when they discovered this gem in the northeast of Spain, not far from Barcelona and within easy reach of Girona Airport.
For a destination wedding (like Eva and James had), it’s highly recommended to hire a wedding planner to help organise everything and find the right suppliers. That said, the owners are originally from London and speak fluent English, as well as Catalan and Spanish—which makes planning much easier.
It’s such a joy to find a wedding venue like this: a beautifully restored villa in a stunning location. The property can host up to 12 overnight guests, and nearby towns like Vic, Sabadell, and Mataró (with seaside hotels), as well as the Mediterranean coast, offer plenty more accommodation options. It’s also common to arrange buses to take guests back to their hotels after the big wedding party.

I am incredibly thankful to be husband to my beautiful wife and father to my two children. Education? I am a real estate manager and worked in the industry for almost a decade, but 10 years ago I discovered my real passion and it’s exciting to do photography work for a living. Since then I’ve photographed 300+ weddings all over Europe and am still looking forward to experiencing new adventures and meeting the coolest people on the planet.
Why do I love weddings? I love to be near to happy people. There are always loads of good vibes and good moments at weddings. I’m the solution guy and it does not matter where the wedding is planned – you will need the wedding visual arts service solution.
