Masseria Salamina is located in Puglia, close to Bari Airport, so your wedding guests can easily reach the gastronomic excellence centre in Southern Italy. Masseria Salamina is historically a farmhouse with 20 guest rooms that still provides olive oil and wine tasting; you can even add it to your wedding as a catering surprise for the guests. Why not? There are several options for where you can hold the wedding ceremony – olive fields, yard, or balcony for a small elopement – Yes! Typically, a destination wedding in Puglia (Apulia) is planned for at least 3-4 days; some guests stay longer for vacation. There are plenty of sightseeing options like Polignano a Mare, Matera, Ostuni – and all that in just 1h drive. Locals use the sea and swimming pools only in summer, but for the rest of us? Just dive in! Apulia is popular for destination weddings because of the gastronomy, music, pizzas, cheese and of course, the warmest weather in Italy all year round! Did I mention that Salamina offers 20 rooms? Yes, but don’t worry. Your wedding planner will organise a coach or bus for all the guests – there are many good hotels in the nearest cities – Fasano, Cisternino or near the seaside.
Hi! This is Masseria Salamina wedding photographer in Puglia, Miks Sels, and I would love to tell you more about this wedding venue, but let’s be honest: a wedding planner is a must-have destination wedding vendor. Caroline & Matthew chose Italian Boutique Weddings – just take a look at this beautiful event. If you’re still choosing, I’ve put Salamina side by side with 19 other wedding venues in Puglia, with prices and who each one suits.
