Top 15 Wedding Planners Based in Puglia for Destination Couples

Planning a wedding in Puglia from the US, Canada or the UK means organizing a whole celebration from thousands of miles away. A good local planner isn’t a luxury here. It’s the difference between a smooth, easy weekend and a lot of late-night emails.

After photographing weddings across Puglia and Italy, I’ve worked alongside many different planners and seen how much they shape a wedding day. Below are 15 wedding planners based in Puglia whose work I think is worth knowing about, what they do best, and what to ask before you sign.

Why a Puglia-based planner matters

Puglia’s best-known venues, like Masseria Moroseta, Borgo Egnazia and Masseria Torre Coccaro, come with their own vendor lists, permits and seasonal logistics. Someone who works in the region all year already knows all of that. You don’t have to build those relationships from scratch.

Local planners also know the light. A September ceremony at a whitewashed masseria needs a different timeline than a June wedding on the Adriatic coast, and a planner who lives here plans for that without being told.

If you’re still choosing a venue, start with my guide to the 20 best wedding venues in Puglia or, if you love the cone-roofed houses of the Itria Valley, my guide to trulli wedding venues.

How much does a wedding planner in Puglia cost?

Prices depend on the size of the wedding and how much you hand over, so treat these as rough estimates and ask each planner for a current quote:

Full planning and design: roughly €5,000 to €15,000+, or around 10–15% of the total wedding budget for bigger weekends.
Partial planning: around €2,500 to €5,000, when you’ve already booked the venue and some vendors.
Wedding-day coordination: from about €1,500 to €3,000.
Multi-day weekends (welcome dinner, wedding, farewell brunch) cost more, because each event is its own job.

Ask for a written list of what’s included before you compare quotes. Two planners at the same price can offer very different things.

What to ask before you book

A few questions worth asking any planner before you sign:
How many weddings do you take per season? (Fewer usually means more attention.)
Have you worked at our venue before?
Who is our main point of contact on the wedding day?
How do you handle vendor communication and time zones for couples abroad?
What’s included, and what costs extra?

How I see a planner’s work on the wedding day

When I arrive at a wedding, I can tell pretty quickly how the planner has set up the day. Where is the morning prep, and how far is it from the ceremony? How is the ceremony arranged, and where will the sun be at that time? Where does the aperitivo happen, and is there a gap for portraits while the light is soft?

In Puglia that matters a lot. Summer afternoons are bright and hot, so the best planners push the ceremony later, find shade for guests, and leave space for golden hour around the masseria. When the timeline works, the day feels calm for you and your guests, and I get to tell the story without rushing anyone.

Planner and photographer: book both early

The best Puglia planners and photographers book out fast, especially for May, June and September. Once you have your venue, booking both at the same time means the timeline and the photo plan are built together from day one.

FAQ

How much does a wedding planner in Puglia cost?

Roughly €5,000 to €15,000+ for full planning and design, around €2,500 to €5,000 for partial planning, and from about €1,500 for wedding-day coordination. Always confirm current prices with the planner.

When should we book a Puglia wedding planner?

As soon as you have a date and a rough area. Twelve to eighteen months ahead is a good target for May to October weddings.

Do we need a planner if our masseria has a coordinator?

Usually yes. The venue coordinator looks after the venue; a planner looks after everything around it, from vendors and transport to paperwork and the timeline.

Can we plan a Puglia wedding from the US or UK?

Yes. Most of the couples I photograph in Italy plan from abroad, and a local planner is what makes that realistic.
